It’s an uplifting track that derives its unique sound from a cheery accompaniment that blends shuffling drum patterns with bouncy melodies from wind-like synths. His playful voice delivers effortlessly memorable hooks in the verses, choruses and the pseudo-scat of the bridge, while constantly evoking thoughts of something deeper. “The joyous mood of the song contrasts the dark narrative to portray the difference we often experience between what we feel inside and what we display on the outside when we are in an emotional abyss,” he explains.
